Irelands veto on Intellectual Property Rights will be lost. The EU will move towards a unified stance on Intelectual Property Rights. See the recently published paper from the Eurpean Commision "Reviewing Community innovation policy in a changing world" (pdf)  to see where this will lead(In short more stricter patens, and more copyright). So yes the treaty is directly relevent to the pirate party.

the Lisbon treaty gives more power to the european paliament. So I think its a good treaty because now the commission isn't controlled by a real democratic power.

Every piece of power it gives it takes freedoms away from us.

Personally, seeing as there are no elements of the Lisbon treaty which are directly relevant to Pirating, I would say that it is unwise to take a stance which could potentially divide the party at such an early stage.

Hmmm, very divided...obviously something we should stay away from for now!
